Not Medical or Mental Health Care

Nest & Nurture does not provide medical care, mental health treatment, diagnosis, physical therapy, lactation treatment, nutrition therapy, or emergency services. Our circles, private sessions, in-home visits, workshops, events, website content, and communications are not substitutes for care from a qualified medical or mental health professional.

Nothing shared by Nest & Nurture should be interpreted as medical advice or as creating a healthcare provider–patient relationship.

Always consult an appropriate licensed provider regarding pregnancy, postpartum recovery, exercise, nutrition, infant care, mental health, or other health-related concerns. In an emergency, call 911 or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.

Scope of Services

Nest & Nurture provides nonmedical support that may include education, community connection, practical postpartum preparation, emotional support, gentle movement, mindfulness, breathwork, help with routines, light household support related to mother and baby, and referrals to outside resources.

In-home support is not nursing care, medical care, psychotherapy, professional housekeeping, or a replacement for childcare. Services do not guarantee any particular physical, emotional, relational, or parenting outcome.

Movement and Wellness Activities

Participation in yoga, stretching, dance, breathwork, mindfulness, nervous-system practices, or other movement and wellness activities is voluntary.

Before participating, consult your healthcare provider when appropriate, particularly if you are pregnant, recently gave birth, have an injury or medical condition, or have not been cleared for physical activity.

You are responsible for listening to your body, choosing whether to participate, modifying or stopping an activity, and informing the facilitator of relevant limitations. When participating virtually, you are also responsible for choosing a safe environment and using suitable equipment.

Participation involves inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nest & Nurture is not responsible for injury, illness, loss, or damage resulting from participation, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

In-Home Support and Infant Supervision

A parent or responsible adult must remain present in the home during an in-home postpartum support visit unless another arrangement has been expressly agreed to in writing.

Parents and legal guardians remain responsible for decisions concerning their baby and other children. Nest & Nurture does not assume legal custody or replace medical, nursing, or professional childcare services.

You are responsible for informing Nest & Nurture of relevant household conditions, allergies, illnesses, safety concerns, pets, or other circumstances that could affect an in-home visit.

Food and Allergy Considerations

If light snack or meal preparation is included during an in-home visit, the family is responsible for providing the ingredients and communicating all allergies, sensitivities, dietary restrictions, and food-safety concerns.

Nest & Nurture cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and is not responsible for undisclosed allergies, sensitivities, or reactions.

Community and Peer Sharing

Our circles, group chats, events, and online community spaces encourage connection and the sharing of personal experiences. Information shared by participants represents their individual experiences and should not be treated as professional advice.

Participants are expected to respect one another’s privacy. However, Nest & Nurture cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality and is not responsible for how participants use or repeat information shared within a group setting.

Children at Circles and Events

Babies and children are welcome only when indicated for a particular circle or event. Nest & Nurture does not provide childcare. Parents and caregivers remain responsible for supervising their children at all times.

Referrals and Third-Party Services

Nest & Nurture may share information about community resources, providers, products, or services as a convenience. A referral or link does not guarantee or endorse the availability, quality, safety, licensing, or outcome of a third party’s services.

Any decision to work with a third-party provider is solely between you and that provider.

External and Affiliate Links

Our website may contain links to external websites, resources, products, or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, availability, or accuracy of third-party websites.

If an affiliate link is used, Nest & Nurture may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships will be disclosed when applicable.

Testimonials and Results

Testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not guarantees that another participant will have the same experience or outcome.

Photography and Media

Photographs, video recordings, testimonials, or identifying information will be used for promotional purposes only when the appropriate permission has been obtained. When an event indicates that photography may occur, additional information or a media release will be provided.

Any stated practice of blurring children’s faces applies as described in the relevant event notice or media release.

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all content will always be complete, error-free, or up to date. Program details, locations, availability, pricing, and schedules may change.

Acceptance

By using this website or voluntarily participating in a Nest & Nurture offering, you acknowledge the nature and limitations of the information and services described above.

Registration or participation may also require a separate service agreement, informed-consent form, liability waiver, or media release. If a separate signed agreement conflicts with this general disclaimer, the signed agreement will govern to the extent permitted by law.
